Dedicated to celebrating the heritage
          and improving the future of
          the Red Deer Region
          and Central Alberta

From trails and rails to roads, expressways and air
   travel with a return to trails and rails in the
   future mark transportation as the catalyst that
   made Central Alberta a major distribution hub in
   the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Harvard at SpringbrookThe efficient and rapid movement of people between
   communities and the development of trails as
   transportation corridors will be among the most
   significant legacies of a car-based strategy that
   will undergo major future changes;

Intelligent urban and inter-municipal growth will
   require higher density residential nodes
   surrounded by open space;

Our rich diversity from First Nations and the first
  European settlers to an increasingly global community in the region highlight the evolution
  of the Canadian mosaic representing a heritage deserving of increasing celebration;

The natural beauty of our land, water and air is the lifeblood of our communities, our spirit
  and our wildlife.

The Red Deer region and Central Alberta represent a blend of rural and urban values.

The city of Red Deer and several urban-style communities along the Highway 2 north-south corridor and the Highway 11/12 east-west corridors are experiencing major growth pressures that require intelligent growth strategies for its needs and challenges and an appreciation of the rich heritage and culture that made the region what it is today.

In addition, we are the stewards of the land and water that provide the sustenance of our prosperity while allowing us to enjoy its recreational opportunities, beauty and ecological diversity.

Being a long-term active resident involved in a variety of community-oriented organizations in Springbrook, Red Deer County, Red Deer, Innisfail and Sylvan Lake, I have kept myself well informed of the many issues in and around the Red Deer Region for the past 35 years.

If I can assist you in developing strategies for the betterment of the region, especially as it relates to transportation, heritage and inter-community growth, please contact me.
