Profile

My background includes commercial printing, newspaper and magazine publishing, website development, graphic and photographic arts, transportation planning, financial services, traffic safety and personal development.
 
I have also taken a keen interest in urban planning, community development and regional history.
 
Since 1973, I have been proud to call Central Alberta home, having lived in Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Innisfail and Springbrook.
 
Currently I am an active volunteer in a variety of boards and committees including Central Alberta Regional Trails Society (Vice-President), Springbrook Community Association (President), Red Deer Chamber of Commerce (Transportation and Civic Affairs Committees), Junior Achievement, Harvard Historical Aviation Society and Springbrook Condominium Board (Treasurer).
 
In the past, I was also active with Central Alberta Arthritis Society (Jingle Bell Run), the Baha'i communities of Innisfail and Red Deer, the Lupus Society and the Alberta Central Model Railroad Club.
 
On the professional front, I create online properties (websites) and publish two online netMagazines -- Focus on the Red Deer Region and Springbrook-Waskasoo Life.
